Three left with horrific injuries as lightning strikes Bandar Malaysia construction site

KUALA LUMPUR: A lightning strike left three people badly injured at a construction site in Bandar Malaysia this evening.
The incident is believed to have occurred at an under-construction MRT station nearby.
Those injured were believed to be Nepali and Bangladeshi construction workers.
Initial reports suggest that the three had their legs severed in the accident.
This was confirmed by a spokesman for the City Fire and Rescue Department.
The full extent of their injuries are unknown as at press time. It is learnt that the three have been sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treatment.
