'My lover's body is in the car'
PETALING JAYA: He killed his lover in her car and then went to a police station to surrender â" with the body still in the front seat.
The man drove to the Damansara police station and confessed his crime to the stunned policemen.
Police are treating the murder as a possible crime of passion.
The victimâs family later identified her as D. Tharsini, 37, with one relative saying she heard that the man was a co-worker.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din, who revealed this yesterday, said the incident occurred at about 3pm yesterday.
âWe went out to check the car which was parked at the main entrance and found the bloodied body in the front passenger seat,ââ he said at the police station.

Police found a sharp object in the car, which was believed to be the murder weapon.
He said the woman worked as a clerk in a condominium in the area, and was said to have been in a relationship with the suspect for about two years.
Relatives who turned up at the University Malaya Medical Centre pathology department claimed Tharsini h ad no boyfriend and that they had not heard of the man.
âAs far as we know, she was not seeing anyone,â said the victimâs cousin, who wished to be known only as Malar.
Another relative said Tharsini rarely went out and loved staying home with her four dogs.
A witness at the police station said the suspect was clad in a black uniform complete with a name tag when he came in.
âHe walked in, no blood on him. He just told the police officer that he had murdered his girlfriend and that her body was in the car,ââ he said.Related NewsSource: Google News
